The Design Process

Rock of Ages’ designers have been creating family mausoleums for over 100 years. As a result, Rock of Ages’ has developed a reputation as one of America’s premiere manufactures of family mausoleums and columbariums.

Once a family has expressed their memorial wishes it is time for a Rock of Ages designer to transform these wishes into a reality. While Rock of Ages uses the latest in design technologies, we have Master Designers on staff that exemplify artistry with their classic pencil and paper designs. Rock of Ages also has engineers on staff to ensure the structural stability and design of our mausoleums.

After the mausoleum design concept is complete a set of architectural plans is sent to the family for their review and acceptance, at which point the granite is put into production.
