Rock of Ages owns the richest granite quarries in the world. Each is several hundred feet deep, and contains a several hundred-year supply of granite.

The granite is taken from our quarries in huge, room-sized blocks. It is inspected immediately, then sawed into slabs (like a loaf of bread) and polished. At each step in this process, our skilled craftsmen constantly assess the quality of the granite.

Blocks that meet our most exacting specifications are then sawed, polished, carved sandblasted and carefully hand-sculpted by our most skilled craftsmen.
